Leider komme ich nicht von einem süßen Frühstück weg und darum wollte ich mir gern eigenen Toast herstellen und nicht unbedingt immer den gezuckerte kaufen.
Das Rezept von Mann backt ist mega cool. Das Brot nimmt meine Nichte sogar gern ungetoastet mit in die Schule. Wenn das mal nicht der Adelsschlag ist.

Am Wochenende essen wir gern Brötchen und umso lieber, wenn man diese selbst gemacht hat. Bei Ketex bin ich fündig geworden und haben den Teig für seine Kaisersemmel etwas angepasst und verwende diesen nun immer für den hellen Part vom Brotkörbchen.

Wir haben eigentlich immer Brötchen von C&W gekauft, aber nun haben wir neue Lieblingsbrötchen gefunden, die ich sogar selbst machen kann. Schusterjungen von Ketex. Nach dem Abkühlen werden sie auf Vorrat eingefroren und früh mit 170°O/U aufgebacken ca. 14 min.

Mein Roggensauer hat übelst Trieb zur Zeit und ich backe wöchtentlich Roggenbrote. Ja, wir sind umgestiegen auf reines Roggenbrot… manchmal backe ich im Petromax und manchmal freigeschoben auf Backstahl. Ich freue mich schon auf nächstes Jahr. Dann bekomme ich einen Backofen. 🙂
